Monday October 5th 2020 - Proceeds to benefit Matt's Family

On February 6th, 2019 Matthew Rittner was killed while helping excute a search warrant while a member of the Milwaukee Police Department's Tactical Enforcement Unit.  Matthew was a husband, father, Marine Reservist and a member of M.P.D., T.E.U.  He had served two tours in a Iraq and was already a 17 year veteran of M.P.D. He was the kind of person and officer that you wanted to show up at your home if you called the police.

Matt left behind a wife and a four year old son.  Three days after Matt's funeral his widow found out that she was pregnant.  The proceeds from this fund raiser will help with a lot of day-to-day tasks that we may take for granted.  In the past few months we have helped secure lawn work, snow removal and other odd jobs that need to be done.  We also helped with tree removal, some of the officers were able to help physically but  equipment was rented to make this task easier and safer.

I hope that this brief explanation gives you an idea of why we are doing this fundraiser and where the proceeds are going.  Thank you for yor interest and help with this task.
